I am in need of a programmer to finish the development of software that values stocks. I currently have the source code from my previous developer that is very near completion of what I want accomplished. When the source code is made into an executable file, it should work. The main work that will be needed is to alter the current code to fix the errors and the macro that will be needed to be written in excel (please see below. The current source code enables four overall tasks. 1. Data mine (or data scrape) all ticker symbols for companies that are currently listed on the Nasdaq, Amex and NYSE (this is completed by scraping the website for each exchange to get a list of all ticker symbols. 2. Use the ticker symbol list to data mine the financial statements for each company from the internet 3. Once the financial statements have been mined, convert the currency to US Dollars 4. Once the financial statements have been mined, calculate valuations for each company based on the formulas that I provide I would like an additional task to be completed by creating a macro in visual basic thru excel to be able to query the last traded price for each ticker symbol. The software has an output of all the financial statement information and valuation calculations in excel. I would envision that a macro would need to be written in visual basic in order to query the traded price for each company within excel.
