| Description: | 1. Client / Server
We would like to have a solution where people can share their contacts with other mac users on their network. It should also support synchronisation over the internet from remote locations. The server should use web services to offer a central relational database accessible using the client. Features: -Bi-directional sync to keep your Address Books up to date. -iSync integration to transfer contact information in the background in real time -Address Book schema should be supported. -Discover the server via Bonjour. Should be easy to configure. -Support for off-site clients (Without Bonjour) -Scheduled automatic synchronisation -Different language versions -Recover deleted contacts -Administration tools -Publish and Subscribe model, allowing clients to subscribe to groups on the server rather then all contacts -Standalone server implemented in Java for cross platform -Security features -(Vista / XP client) 2. LDAP A solution to transfer contact information to a central LDAP server and keep the LDAP directory updated. Report Violation |
